Sunset FAQ — Service Ending July 31, 2026
Rolemantic AI will be permanently shutting down on July 31, 2026. This page answers common questions about what this means for you and your account.
1. What is happening?
Rolemantic AI is shutting down. The service will be fully offline after July 31, 2026. No new accounts, subscriptions, or purchases are being accepted.
2. Key Dates
- June 21, 2026 — No new subscriptions, upgrades, or Dabloons purchases accepted.
- July 31, 2026 — Service goes offline. All features become unavailable.
- August 31, 2026 — All account data, chat history, characters, and images will be permanently deleted.
3. What happens to my subscription?
All auto-renewing subscriptions will be cancelled automatically. You do not need to take any action — your subscription will not renew after your current billing period ends.
Your subscription benefits (messages, images, voice, etc.) will remain active until the shutdown date of July 31, 2026, regardless of when your current billing period ends.
4. Can I get a refund?
If you are on a yearly plan, you may request a pro-rated refund for the unused portion of your subscription. The refund amount will be calculated based on the number of full months remaining between your refund request and July 31, 2026.

5. What happens to my Dabloons?
Unused Dabloons will remain usable until the shutdown date. You can continue spending them on messages, images, and voice generation until July 31, 2026. Dabloons are non-refundable and will expire when the service goes offline.
6. How do I export my chat history?
Go to the Recent Chat page and export individual conversations from each chat's menu, or open a conversation and click “Export Chat” in the chat header. Each export downloads that conversation as a JSON file.
We strongly recommend exporting your data before July 31, 2026. After the shutdown, chat history will not be recoverable.
7. What happens to my characters?
Characters you created will remain accessible until the shutdown date. After July 31, 2026, all character data will be permanently deleted. If you wish to preserve your character definitions, we recommend saving their details (name, description, personality, etc.) manually before the shutdown.
8. What happens to my account data?
All account data — including your profile, chat history, characters, generated images, and payment history — will be permanently deleted on August 31, 2026, one month after the service goes offline.
9. Can I still use the service until July 31?
Yes. All existing features (chatting, image generation, voice messages, etc.) will continue to work normally for existing users until the shutdown date. The only change is that new payments and subscriptions are no longer accepted.
